Beautiful Saturday Weather

Today has been pretty relaxing. It began with a nice long morning run. I want to keep up my weekend long runs, they seem to keep me sane and start my weekend off on the right foot. So this morning I set out for an easy 6 miles.

It was a beautiful morning, nice and crisp-cool weather, perfect for a run. There are a lot of things going on downtown this weekend so a lot of families were out. I planned my run to finish downtown in the Old Market area so I could walk around the Farmers Market. 

I headed home after a little shopping and cuddled up in bed with this cutie.

Because the weather has been so nice, it seemed a waste to spend the day inside so Colby and I headed out for a long walk in Elmwood Park.

Colby and I haven't been out there before and it was a nice area. We will definitely be making a trip back. Then it was time for dinner. I whipped up my favorite summer salad from Tylers (with some modifications): spinach, sliced up pear, goat cheese, with spicy mustard vinaigrette dressings.
