Quick Update of Preparation

Here we go - its Tuesday, one step closer to Friday! I can not lie, I've been counting down the days until this weekend for a long time. Saturday, Jamie and I run the Fargo Marathon and its time to get this thing over with!

Because I am so ready for the weekend, this work week is creeping by. As far as assignments, I don't have a whole lot on my plate so the clock ticks by very slowly. It has been gorgeous weather so everyday has consisted of an outdoor lunch break - which I look forward to everyday. 

Anything else new going on? Not really. Just enjoying some really easy tapering runs this week - 2 or 3 miles - with Colby. I'm trying to take it really easy on my legs so that on Saturday my legs feel so rested they are dying to get out there and run again. 

Colby's also enjoying the short runs, its been too hot to take her out for more than a 3 or 4 mile run.


I've also been trying to eat as healthy as possible. For dinner tonight: stuffed tortellini tossed with spinach, cheery tomatoes, and goat cheese. Yummy dinner, thank you Nebraska!


Now its 8pm, getting close to bed time! I'm not ashamed to admit that I've been going to sleep between 9 and 10 pm every night. It's ok - got to be rested up!

  1. WOW!!! Congratulations, girl! That is such an incredible accomplishment and you should be very proud of yourself! Also, froyo is the perfect way to celebrate :) Miss you!!!
