TGIF (almost)

I am so excited that tomorrow is Friday. Its been a pretty long week filled with lots of research and paper-writing at work and my head has been hurting all week. I honestly don't think I have been so concentrated and so focused all year. But the weekend is almost here and I have absolutely nothing to do :).

But rewind to Wednesday.

Wednesday was a tough day at work but I arrived home to a great surprise.

More flowers! Well, to be correct, the right flowers! If you saw earlier this week, on our anniversary Matthew sent me some flowers. But once he saw a picture of them he realized they were not what he ordered at all. So after talking with the florist about the mix-up, they decided to send me the right arrangement. And these flowers are beautiful!

It was also such a beautiful day that after my 5 mile run Kari met me for Happy Hour at Rock Bottom.

Honestly, that afternoon was probably the best time I've had here in Omaha since I came back from Christmas. Something about warm weather, longer days, and sun dresses all just make the world a better place.

Today was just as warm. After work I started my tutoring at Goodwill and got in a quick walk with Colby followed by some Zumba. Another great afternoon.

Also, my flowers started opening up even more today.

And they smell so good! The whole apartment smells so fresh and spring-like!

One last highlight from today was that I officially signed up for my second half-marathon!! Kathryn and I will be running the half in Key Biscayne, FL. on April 29 during the week I am visiting her in Boca. I'm so excited!
