Windows Rolled Down

Oh today was so amazing. There is just something so special about the first day of spring that you can drive in your car with the windows rolled down. Today was that day...it got into the upper 70's.

So the first half of the day was spent inside at work and blah blah blah...

But as soon as 4pm rolled around I was out of there. I picked up Colby and we headed off to Keystone trail to get in an easy 4 miles.

I have been having some trouble with my right ankle and shins splints lately so I was hoping this run wouldn't hurt too bad. My 13 miler didn't happen this weekend because of the pain so I am taking it slow this week.

The run wasn't terrible, but it was still pretty painful. Stupid running injuries. I think I might just be over training a little so I am going to scale back a little this week so I can knock out the 17 strong this weekend.

It was so pretty outside today I didn't want to come in. I would have given anything to stay outside and eat dinner on a patio and enjoy the warmth but today wasn't the day - I do have a feeling though that this amazing day is the first of many. Tomorrow it's suppose to get up to almost 80...thank God for warm weather.

Welcome Spring!
