A Few New Changes

Now that I have returned to Nebraska and will be living with one less roommate, I decided I needed a few new decorating changes. So far its a slow process but I have added two shelves for pictures and added a painting that I did with Kathryn.

Nothing too fancy, but its a beginning. I hope to add another side table as well as something on the wall above my bed, but no idea what yet. More pictures to come as it gets a little more organized but even with these little changes its already starting to feel more homey.

Tonight, as a final celebration of my mom's trip out here, we went to dinner at Dundee Dell. I love their food and its got a great "pub-ish" atmosphere.

My Godmother, who lives in Des Moines, drove the two hours to Omaha with her family to meet us for dinner. I hadn't seen this family for about 14 years (since my first communion in the second grade) and it was great to see everyone and catch up.

After a great night of friends and good food, it is time for bed.
