Life in Omaha

Since my return from Denver on Thursday the apartment is starting to look like a real apartment! Matthew and Colby survived the week alone without me in Omaha while I enjoyed [10 hr days] that consisted of meetings, group talks, very yummy meals, and new friendships. Although Denver is an amazing city, I was very much ready to be back in my little apartment and learn more about this new city!

So for my first official blog in my new apartment, I wanted to show a few pictures depicting the evolution of its organization. (Remember: it took about a week for us to get A/C, internet and cable, and a bed)

The first night.
And again.
Starting to shape up.

Our new dresser from a thrift store and the new tv!
The tiny kitchen area.
The new bed, my favorite thing!

The finished product, so far!

So that is where we are living right now. It's nothing glamorous, but it fits us just fine. Now that all the apartment organizing is over with we've been exploring the city. This morning we got up early and walked to the Farmer's Market. More on the adventure's in Omaha to come soon!
