Good morning Tuesday!
This weekend was just as busy as it sounded on Friday. I think its best to summarize in a quick re-cap of pictures.
Saturday began by volunteering to help set up for the Refugee Health Care Fair - my job, to move tables and make signs to hang up as directions.
After getting in a quick 13 mile run (I ran a half in sub-2 hrs...wahooo!!) Kari and I walked down to Ameritrade Park (home of the College World Series) to watch the Creighton Blue Jays play a home game.
That night I attended the first ever "Finding a Voice" art show - displaying works of art by students from UNMC and homeless guests from the Siena Francis Homeless Shelter. The event also consisted of poetry readings, a panel discussion, and some musical performances. (Sorry the pictures are so dark).
On to Sunday...
Sunday was spent relaxing in the sun by Carter Lake again. Even Colby tagged along and did a great job off her leash getting her tan on.
After that jam packed weekend Colby and I were both wore out.
Now its the start of another work week. But April is full of so many treats - I am so excited!
Hope your week is off to a great start!
