Friday at the Dog Park

I love Fridays. I only have to work half day and can leave at noon. I think all jobs should have that option. So I spent this morning in my cubicle working on my to-do list.

At noon, I joined Kari for lunch at Panara and then rode with her out west to check out a potential apartment she might rent next year (she is going to Creighton for grad school). By the time I returned home, Colby was ready for some attention, so we decided to take advantage of the sunny weather and headed out to the dog park.

We hung out there for a little while, until Colby had run herself down and then headed back to the apartment. Now, were just lounging around. Me, catching up on some reading...

After yesterday's 14 mile run (which felt pretty good) I'm just taking it easy tonight and planning on going to bed pretty early (is 6:30 too early?). I have to get up tomorrow pretty early to volunteer with Millions of Meals, so an early night it is! Happy Friday everyone :).
