A Windy Wednesday

Today, my dad turns 13 years old!

Today was a pretty normal Wednesday for me. Spent the day at UNMC, checking things off my to-do list and drinking lots of green tea to stay awake.

I had a plan to tackle my 14 miler that I put off this weekend I decided to wait and run when I got back to NE and in my regular routine. But the weather decided to change my plans...it was one heck of a windy Wednesday.

Yeah, I'm not running 14 miles out in winds up to 35 miles per hour. The wind here is just so cold, I swear Nebraska needs to grow some trees like normal states. So I settled today for a 4 mile treadmill run at the Y and I plan on hitting the pavement for 14 tomorrow.

When I returned from the Y, this little bundle of love was waiting.
