Productivity.

I love being lazy as much as the next person. I generally reserve Sunday's to be "lazy days" and make it a purpose not to do anything (other than a long run).

Our usual Sunday nap.
But I also really enjoy days full of productivity. Today was one of those days. On my to-do list:

  • laundry
  • personal statement revisions
  • clean up the apartment
  • work out
  • cook dinner
Not a very exciting day, but a number of things to get done. First stop: MCC to get the laundry done and spend some time alone to work on my personal statement revisions. The Americorps office at the community college has a free washer and dryer in the basement. I usually save up about 2 weeks worth of clothes and head out there for an afternoon of washing and drying. And in the mean time, I get to sit upstairs in the quiet and work on grad school applications.

Then it was back to the apartment to clean up, workout, and cook dinner. My workout included a killer 30 minute interval elliptical session and an upper body workout.

I usually do only the first 30 minute because I'm using the workout as a warm up and it kicks my butt every time. I highly suggest this workout if your looking for a challenge on the elliptical!

After all of this productivity, Colby and I are getting ready for our Lazy Sunday tomorrow. Gotta rest up for the seven mile run Jamie and I are going to complete tomorrow!
