Preparations

Today has been a great day for many many reasons. The most exciting thing about today is that it was my last day of work for the week...because...I am flying home to NC tomorrow for my birthday!! So, today was full of preparations!

First of all, the girls at work took me out to Tommy Colinas for lunch to celebrate my birthday.

It was so yummy and just a nice treat in the middle of the week. After lunch we had to go out and take a few pictures for a slideshow project for work so we got to enjoy the (somewhat) warm weather and walk around outside. 

After work, a few of us even went out to Jazz, a local cajan restaurant to celebrate Fat Tuesday.

Now I am in the process of cleaning and packing and hanging out with the puppy. I fly out tomorrow afternoon and there is still so much to do! Happy Fat Tuesday!
